Crown Safari Biltong Seasoning 1kg


How to make Biltong. We recommend topside for lean and silverside for fatty.

1. Remove all visible connective tissue from meat.

2. Cut meat into long strips approx 25mm thick for biltong and 8mm for chilli bites and snapsticks.

3. Place meat in layers and sprinkle  Crown biltong spice over each layer.

4. Sprinkle with vinegar and leave overnight in a fridge.

5. Hang to dry in a suitable drying cabinet with a fan until desired dryness. 

6. Weight loss of up to 50% can be expected.
